Dr. Nick Gunter is a Tennessee native, who is passionate about providing the best possible care, treating every patient like family.
He has been dedicated to animal care since he began working as a veterinary assistant prior to and while attending the University of Tennessee for Animal Sciences. He received his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 before moving to Blacksburg, VA to pursue an internship in internal medicine and surgery. After completion, Dr. Gunter moved to the Tampa Bay area where he received an additional year of internship training in emergency medicine and ophthalmology.
Dr. Gunter has been working in veterinary medicine for 10 years. His special interests include: ophthalmology, preventative medicine, internal medicine, and dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Gunter enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, woodworking, jiu jitsu, and watching movies. He has two orange tabby cats named Oliver and Sushi, and a noisy beagle named Harper.
